Happy Valley Neighborhood Green Infrastructure Plan

My role in this project is to create maps of the Happy Valley Neighborhood in order to help facilitate updating the 2000 Happy Valley Neighborhood Green Infrastructure Plan.

The goal of this project is to increase the amount of green space, the filtration of storm water that goes in to local steams and creeks, trails, bicycling, and pedestrian networks connecting the built environment with the people.

I will be helping in the updating the 2000 HVN Green Infrastructure Plan by providing thematic maps of Happy Valley Neighborhood showing (1) Impervious Surface (2) Soil and Slopes (3) Fish Distribution (4) Streams, wetlands, FEMA (5) Air Photo map with streets and parcels (6) Public Lands (7) Trails and Routes: bike routes, trails, and bus routes (8) Building Patterns in order decided which areas should be improved on and how.
